Januuary is one of the quietest and coldest time of year in Newport.
But I still adore coming up to my New England home by the sea.
Many of the restaurants close for the month to take well-deserved vacations.
So do call and make sure they are open.
These two restaurants are my favorite to cozy up by a fireplace place and have a warming glass of port.
